You retain ownership over your words. We get an unrestricted, perpetual license to the performance itself.
Gathering of Personal Information
We collection contact info for anyone buying tickets or submitting for stage time. We use 3rd parties to store this data like MailChimp or similar vendors. We don’t sell your data to anyone.
Video at The Lather
We video our events. Some speakers have opted out of having their videos posted online, and for this reason we do not allow video or audio at our events by anyone other than our team. Please don’t post any videos or audio of The Lather online to protect our performers. If you attend The Lather you may incidentally appear in one of our videos. If you want to avoid this please don’t sit near the stage.
Protection of Personal- Information
We make no warranty about your data in the 3rd parties we use for tickets, forms and similar applications. You are trusting us to choose reasonably good vendors, and if you care a lot about which ones we use please contact us, and we’ll update this to list them.
Privacy Policy Changes
We might change this without notice. By submitting your info or buying tickets you are trusting us to not fuck you over, and we are representing that’s our intent. After that we figure spending money on lawyers for this document makes no real sense for either of us.
Conflict Resolution
If you have beef with The Lather talk to us. Otherwise, let’s get a mediator involved. If that doesn’t work let’s use arbitration. If all of those fail you can go ahead and sue us, if that’s how you wanna roll. We don’t really have much money, though, so please don’t.
